Information on each title is available by clicking on the book images above. We also provide Teacher Guides and Teacher Training, audio versions of the stories in all 3 languages, read with page-turn signals for classroom use, and posters to brighten up classroom walls.

There are also downloadable radio programs on six of the stories for local Afghan radio.

For a tax-deductible donation of $100, 60 children will receive a book to keep, and their teacher a literacy guide for the classroom.

Help Books for Afghanistan at No Cost to You!

You can do that anytime you make an online purchase from Amazon, just by using the AmazonSmile program. Simply make all of your Amazon purchases at smile.amazon.com (which is still Amazon, with the very same products and prices) instead of amazon.com – and, when you first log in, set your account up so that the Institute for the Study of Human Knowledge (ISHK) is the recipient charity (Books for Afghanistan is an ISHK program). From then on, AmazonSmile will remember to automatically donate 0.5% of your eligible Amazon purchases to ISHK, at no extra cost to you!

Proceeds from the sale of Hoopoe English-Pashto and English-Dari editions will support this program.
